Host Terms

Welcome to Nebula, the cloud gaming platform that connects gamers around the world. If you choose to become a Host on Nebula, please carefully review and agree to the following terms and conditions:

(The terms below act as an addendum to Nebula's primary Terms of Use and only applicable to parties acting as a Host on Nebula's platform. This same copy of Host Terms will be displayed again during the installation of Nebula's Hosting client)
1. Consent to Host:
By becoming a Nebula Host, you willingly agree to host your gaming computer and games for remote users (Players) worldwide.
You acknowledge and accept the potential cybersecurity risks associated with hosting your hardware and granting remote access to your gaming setup.
2. Compensation:
In exchange for hosting, Nebula will pay you an hourly rate as determined by Nebula, based on the earning rates corresponding to your computer's hardware specifications. Nebula reserves the right to amend the compensation rates at any time.
3. Data Collection:
Nebula will collect relevant hardware and personal data from you for internal use in operating the Nebula platform. We commit to using this data responsibly and securely, adhering to industry-standard cybersecurity protocols.
4. Security and Mitigation:
Nebula will employ best efforts to protect your data and hardware access, implementing industry-standard cybersecurity protocols to mitigate potential attacks. However, we cannot guarantee that your data and hardware will never be compromised.
5. Representing Nebula:
As a Nebula Host, you are a representative of the Nebula brand and reputation. You agree to uphold the integrity of Nebula and to comply with additional conditions, including but not limited to the following:

Non-Interference: You will not meddle with a Player's gameplay during live hosting sessions.

Game Updates: Games on your hosted system should remain updated and ready to play at all times.

Stable Connectivity: Your power and internet connection must remain stable and connected throughout hosting sessions.

Availability: When choosing to start hosting, ensure your PC won't be needed personally for a minimum of 2 hours.

Reclaiming Your PC: If you need to reclaim your PC, a 15-minute wait time will be imposed to allow Players to finish and save their game progress before your computer is returned to your control.
6. Modification of Terms:
Nebula reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Hosts will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the Nebula platform implies acceptance of the updated terms.
7. Termination:
Nebula reserves the right to terminate the hosting agreement with any Host who violates these terms and conditions, jeopardizing the security or reputation of Nebula.
By becoming a Nebula Host, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use Nebula as a Host.
